What can Dinx find in Mystery Mansion? We have been tracking a valuable painting that was stolen from the museum. We have had a tip that the thief in the mansion down the road from your house. The suspect will be out of town for the next few days and we need you to find a way inside and look for the painting. Play this adventure game.
Dinx - Mystery Mansion walkthrough
• Follow the on- screen instructions and you will end up in Dinx’s room to check his email.
• Dinx is given the assignment to look for a stolen painting in the mansion down the street.
• Leave Dinx’s house and head right until you are in front of the mansion.
• Check the mailbox and in the back is a hidden key. Take the key
• Use the key to unlock the front gate.
• Move to the front of the house and look around the left of the screen for a loose brick, behind the brick you will find a key to the front door.
• Use the key to unlock the door and enter the house.
• When you first enter the house you are standing in the entryway, the library is to the left, the spa is to the right and the ballroom is up ahead. There are also 2 staircases, one leads to the left and one leads to the right. There are quite a few things to do downstairs before you head up either way.
• Go left to the library and take the tongs and check out the book on the stand, you will need it later.
• Leave and then move forward to the ballroom. To the left is the billiard room and to the right is the dining room. Up ahead to the left is the kitchen and to the right is the garden. First move right and take the wax apple from the table then move back to the ballroom.
• Move left to the billiard room take the lemon and then move back to the ballroom then up to the kitchen.
• Once in the kitchen take the pot hanging from the ceiling, fill the pot with water and then set it onto the stove. Add the wax apple to the pot and then use the tongs to get a hidden key from the hot wax.
• Move back to the ballroom and move up to the garden, get the scrap of paper on the floor and then use the brown key to unlock the locked cabinet and take the garden hose.
• Move to the spa and use the garden hose to drain the pool. Once the pool is drained get the knife and then head back to the kitchen.
• Once in the kitchen set the lemon on the cutting board and use the knife to chop the lemon in half.
• Go to the library and check the book along with the scrap of paper you found in the garden. The scrap will help you with the locked doors up stairs.
• Move up the left staircase and use the paper to unlock the doors. The colored shapes with the 3 digit number each correspond to the different colors above the doors.
• First enter the yellow room and take a closer look at the book. Use the lemon on the left page to reveal a name (Ben) and then click the painting above the desk to reveal a safe. Use the password Ben (ignore the numbers!) on the keypad and the door will open to reveal a key, leave this room to the hallway.
• Enter the white door which is the bathroom, Look in the medicine cabinet to find a magnifier. Leave the bathroom and enter the green door.
• Take a close look at the markings on the end of the bed, use the magnifier to look even closer! You will find another name (Bob) Move the cabinet to reveal another safe, use the name Bob to unlock this safe and take the key and then leave to the hallway.
• Enter into the pink room, take the powder from the desk and then move the chair to reveal a pink key, take the key and then leave this room and go back down stairs and head up the other staircase to the right.
• Enter the blue door first and move the cabinet to reveal another safe, this time you need to use the powder to reveal finger prints, click the buttons with the prints to open the safe and take the red glasses and leave to the hallway.
• Enter the red door and take the billiard ball, look in the room on the side there is nothing here.
• Head back downstairs to the billiard room and insert the billiard ball into the table and a key will come out of the table. Take the key and head back to the library.
• Look at the book on the stand and notice the red block, use the red glasses on this spot to reveal a clue! The clue is 96069
• Leave the library and head back up the right staircase and then enter the bathroom (white door)
• Move the towel on the wall to reveal a keypad. The code for the keypad is 96069 which is the clue from the book. The cabinet on the wall will slide out of the way to reveal a door. This door requires 4 keys which you should have! Insert each of the 4 keys according to color into the locks. Pull the lever to open the door, enter into the secret room which contains the missing painting!
